Final Thought for today Gyles.
When I engage in a discussion I work "backwards",
the starting point being the source of information
first.
My approach is somewhat journalistic.
Who? What? Where? When? Why? How?
No such opinions or "evidence" can be established
without a creditable source of reference material.
====================================================
Buffoonery is unacceptable, sources such as
Renze.com The National Enquirer, or The Mirror.

Richard

Perhaps, I should have clarified my position. Sorry,
responded late last night.
I was looking at the fairies mythology as to why
would a person believe in it?
So, I asked the question for the purposes of
trying to understand the perspective.
First, "I traveled nearly 100 years into the
past."
Second, the country was England and I needed
to know what the perception of these "fairies"
were at the time? and why would individuals
be prone to believe in them?
I asked these questions because "believers" are prone
to accept such "evidence" whereas someone who is skeptical
or an "unbeliever" would dismiss it.
Either perspective does not establish a position
as being correct until there is proof to establish
one over the other.
==============================================================
I understand what you introduced regarding the mention of
these "fairies". In one respect, to show me that photo
editing or manipulation has been going on for nearly
100 years.
This has been established with the "fairies" reference.
==============================================================
I think we are agreed on 3 aspects.
1. Unidentified Flying Objects do exist. (However, this
does not verify alien life.)
2. Photo manipulation or editing has been going on for
100 years or nearly.
3. There are alternative explanations to UFO's, Sundogs
being an alternative example.
==============================================================
I wish to discuss the issue further with you Gyles (Abbadon)
however, not today. I would be interested in your perspective
on certain matters.
==============================================================
However, I would like to establish guidelines for future
discussions.
1. A level of respect for the other's perspective.
2. Sources of information not simply opinions.
If this can be established then I will welcome any said
discussion.
Respectfully,
Richard

Dear Abaddon:
Thank you for the fairies, sundogs and ufo articles.
This question may be irrelevant but I need to ask
you anyway.
My understanding about "fairies" in Ireland is that
they are "evil" mythological creatures. However,
in the United States "fairies" are supposed to
be "good" creatures.
How are they viewed in England?
The reason I ask is because if they are viewed
similarly as they are in Ireland, would this
not send a "red flag" to the observer of the
photograph?
In other words, automatically debunk this as
a hoax?
I know this is a silly question to ask, however,
I am looking at this from a standpoint of critical
thinking.

Dear Abaddon:
I see your point and perspective on
the matter and I agree on a good
portion of what you state.
Thank you for the insight, in
particular about the "fairies"
of the 1920's (LOL)
By the way if you could share
that link it would be appreciated.

Dear anewme:
Your poster deeply touched me in such a profound
way that I found myself a touch emotional.
What you have to offer is so true in regards to
this subject that I feel all choked up inside.
Do you know how hard it was for me to break out
of this "poor man's mentality?"
Only since graduating college have I been
slowly transforming this "loser" mental state
to one where I can be financially secure and
happy.
Today, I am building a business and I will
not return to the "skidrow" mentality of
the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society.
MANY THANKS FOR THAT EXCEPTIONAL POSTING!

Did The Watchtower Society Foster A Poor Man’s Attitude?
Heard throughout the assembly, was the drone from the podium
“Brothers, beware of the snare of materialism because everything
in this world, the desire of the eyes and the desire of the flesh do
not originate with God, but with the world.”
Did this attitude of self-sacrifice sponsor a poor man’s or conformist attitude?Respectfully,
The Wanderer

Dear Warlock:
If you could provide sources of information
such as links, iframes or direct testimony
from reasonably creditable sources, it would
help support your position and make it easier
to comprehend where you are coming from.
So, if you would please, it would be appreciated.

Dear Mariusuk:
"Whenever you see the often blurry photographs of alleged ufo's have you noticed how they reflect Hollywood's version of what ufo's look like at the time?"-Mariusuk
Yes, I agree, any field of research regardless of
that field is going to have a certain amount of
hoaxes, errors and inaccuracies.
I can replicate those photographs with Adobe
Photoshop myself.
However, a certain amount of those photographs
were before digital manipulation ever really
got off of the ground (pun intended).
Anyway, question the author of the site with
your concerns I am sure he has had to encounter
such questions.
Respectfully,
The Wanderer
